Gabriel is an award winning ocean photographer based in Cairns Australia. Originally from southern chile, were growing up was surrounded by mountains, lakes, rivers, forest and the sea so nature was part of his life from a very early age. After finishing university, he embarked on a one-way trip where he dedicated himself to being a scuba diving instructor and underwater photographer in different parts of the world. The dream of exploring the Great Barrier Reef brought him to Australia, where he has been working as an underwater photographer for the last 5 years. Gabriel is a believer that the oceans are essential for the balance and functioning of a healthy ecosystem which we must protect. His objective is to show the beauty of the sea and the fragile marine life that inhabits it. In turn be able to generate awareness, and provide the opportunity to bring a piece of ocean art to every home.
